Terms of Service

1. The parties
These terms apply between Sitefirst Studio, a sole proprietorship registered in Hungary whose full registered details appear on every invoice (“we”, “us”), and the business purchasing our services (“you”). Our services are offered to businesses only, not to consumers.
2. Previews
We may create a free website preview for your business using publicly available information. A preview is not an offer of a finished product, and you have no obligation to buy. Until you purchase, all preview designs and code remain our property. We will remove any preview on request.
3. Plans and payment
- Pay once: a one-time fee for your website, plus a monthly hosting and care fee.
- Pay monthly: no setup fee and a monthly fee for a minimum term of 12 months. After the term, the plan continues at the standard care fee.
Prices are shown on our website or preview page at the time of purchase, in US dollars. Payments are processed by Stripe. Monthly fees are billed automatically until cancelled as described below. Prices exclude any taxes you are responsible for in your own country.
4. What's included
Your purchase includes the website as shown in your preview, one round of revisions requested within 14 days of purchase, connection to your domain, hosting, SSL, backups and monitoring. The care plan includes small edits such as text, photo, price, service or opening-hour changes, up to about 30 minutes of work per month. New pages, features or redesigns are quoted separately before any work starts.
5. Your responsibilities
You confirm that the information, logos, photos and content you give us are accurate and that you have the right to use them. You're responsible for the accuracy of claims on your website, such as licenses, insurance and warranties, and for giving us domain access or DNS changes when needed. We launch within 72 hours of receiving your revision requests and domain access.
6. Ownership
Your domain name always belongs to you. While your plan is active, we host and maintain your site. Once all fees are paid (the one-time fee for Pay once, or the full 12-month term for Pay monthly), you may request a copy of your website files when you cancel, at no extra cost.
7. Cancellation
- Pay once care plan: cancel anytime with effect from the end of the current billing month.
- Pay monthly plan: may be cancelled after the 12-month minimum term. Cancelling earlier requires paying the remaining months of the term, unless you're covered by the refund guarantee below.
When hosting ends, the website goes offline and we will point your domain wherever you ask.
8. Refund policy: “love it, or it's free”
If you're not satisfied after we've delivered your revision round, tell us within 14 days of that delivery. We will refund 100% of the one-time fee, or all monthly fees paid so far on the Pay monthly plan. The site is then taken down and the plan ends with no further charges. After this 14-day period, fees already paid are non-refundable, and monthly fees are not refunded for partial months.
9. Availability and liability
We use reliable infrastructure and aim for continuous uptime, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability or specific search rankings, traffic or sales. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Hungarian law. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts of Budapest, Hungary, unless mandatory law in your jurisdiction provides otherwise.
